What the widget measures
The panel counts what leaves your browser after you choose a file. The site's own scripts and fonts load like any web page — what you will never see is a request carrying your PDF. Check it here, or open your browser's Network tab and see for yourself.
Steps
How to do it in Lemmafour
- Choose Clean the PDF locally.
- Open the PDF.
- Select Clean in the toolbar.
- Click the watermark, logo, header, or footer object you want to remove.
- Use Find similar when needed, review matches, remove them, and export.
Expert note
Not every watermark is removable
Some watermarks are separate PDF objects that can be selected and removed. Others are baked into a scanned page image or merged into complex artwork; those may need crop, redaction, or external reconstruction instead. Do not remove watermarks from documents unless you have the right to make that edit.
FAQ
Questions people ask before using this tool
Can this remove a watermark from scanned pages?
Usually not as a true object removal. A scan is a single image, so the watermark is part of the pixels.
Does Clean mode remove all matching copies automatically?
It can find similar repeated objects, but you should review the matches before removing them.
Is this the same as redaction?
No. Clean removes selected objects; redaction is for sensitive content removal and verification.
