Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lemmafour, a set of browser-based document tools operated by Ankit Kumar Chauhan, sole proprietor, under the Lemmafour brand. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Lemmafour is

Lemmafour provides tools that process PDF and image files locally in your web browser. Your files are processed on your device; we do not receive them. Because of this, you remain in sole possession and control of your documents at all times — including responsibility for keeping backups of originals before editing them.

Acceptable use

• Use the tools only on documents you have the right to use and modify.
• Do not use Lemmafour to create fraudulent, forged, or deceptive documents.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service in ways that violate applicable law.

Editing marks, watermarks, and attribution

Lemmafour is a general-purpose PDF editor. Like any editor, some tools — including watermark removal, redaction, and object deletion — can alter or remove marks on a document, such as watermarks, stamps, logos, copyright notices, or authorship and rights information.

You agree to use these tools only on documents you own or are otherwise authorized to modify. Do not use them to remove or alter watermarks, copyright notices, or other rights-management information on material you do not own or have permission to change, or to conceal or enable infringement of someone else's rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with copyright law and any licenses or agreements that apply to your documents. Because your files are processed only on your device, we have no visibility into and take no responsibility for the documents you choose to edit.

Your documents and output

You own your documents and everything you produce with the tools. We claim no rights over your files or output. Fonts bundled with Lemmafour are licensed under open licenses (SIL Open Font License 1.1 and the Bitstream Vera license) that permit embedding them in the documents you create, including documents you use commercially.

Free and paid access

Core workflows in every listed PDF tool and an everyday Markdown publishing set are available free of charge. Lemmafour offers a one-time 24-hour Day Pass and monthly and annual Pro subscriptions for the professional capabilities described on the pricing page. Paid or free, the local-processing model described above applies equally.

Orders, renewal, and cancellation

Orders are processed by online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles payment-related buyer support and returns. Paddle transactions are also governed by the Paddle buyer terms.

Accounts and security

Paid checkout and paid access require an account. An account uses a verified email address and one-time email credentials rather than a password. Keep access to that mailbox and your devices secure. Sign-in links and codes are short-lived and single-use. You may revoke other sessions or delete the account from the account page. We do not use a lost-email support override to transfer an account without proof through the normal authentication flow.

An account with an active subscription cannot be deleted until cancellation takes effect, so deletion does not silently leave a paid subscription running. Deleting a Lemmafour account revokes account sessions, disables the account, and removes the sign-in email. It does not delete browser-local documents, downloaded files, or Paddle's separate transaction records. Minimal records may be retained for payment reconciliation, replay prevention, disputes, fraud prevention, tax, or other legal obligations.

A Day Pass is one payment for 24 hours and does not renew. Its 24-hour period starts when the purchase is first activated, and activation must occur within 30 days after payment. Returning to the same purchase during those 24 hours restores only the remaining time; it does not restart the period. Monthly and annual Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed cadence until canceled. You may cancel through the link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle customer portal. A cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so access continues until then unless a refund or an immediate cancellation applies.

Refunds and access changes

Lemmafour offers a full refund of an initial paid purchase requested within 30 days, with no reason required. See the Refund Policy. A full refund ends the related paid access. Access may also be suspended or revoked after a chargeback, payment reversal, fraud, abuse, or material breach of these terms, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Local entitlements and recovery

Lemmafour's server-side entitlement service is authoritative for paid access. Protected operations check that service before they run or export, so paid capabilities require a network connection even though document processing remains local. Signing in restores current Pro access or the remaining time on an activated Day Pass. A Day Pass belongs to the verified account used at checkout; clearing browser data does not restart its clock.

No warranty

Lemmafour is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Document editing is inherently risky: always verify the output and keep your originals. We do not warrant that any output will meet third-party requirements (for example, submission portals, printers, or archival standards). A selected standards profile is an output target with machine-detectable diagnostics; it is not independent certification that every legal, archival, or accessibility requirement has been met.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ankit Kumar Chauhan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or documents, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the service. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
