LemmaPrint Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy applies to LemmaPrint: Print & Scan, the Android app with package name com.lemmafour.lemmaprint. It does not replace the separate Lemmafour website privacy policy. LemmaPrint is developed by Ankit Kumar Chauhan, sole proprietor, operating as LemmaFour.
Documents and scans
PDFs, photos, scans, previews, and print artifacts are processed locally on your device by default. LemmaPrint does not upload document contents to a LemmaPrint server during normal printing and scanning workflows.
The app may create local working copies, preview files, exports, and print spool artifacts so a workflow can complete reliably. Printing or scanning may transmit data directly between your device and the printer, scanner, Android print service, file provider, or destination you choose. That device-directed transfer is not an upload to a LemmaPrint document server.
Local storage and retention
- Recent documents and recent jobs may remain in app-managed local storage for up to 30 days.
- Temporary preview files are normally pruned after about 24 hours.
- Print spool artifacts are cleaned after completion, failure, or staleness.
- Files you deliberately export remain where you saved them until you or the destination removes them.
You can clear recent documents, recent jobs, preview files, spool artifacts, or all app-managed local activity through LemmaPrint Settings. Clearing local activity does not remove files you exported elsewhere or records already held independently by a service provider.
Payments and subscriptions
The current LemmaPrint release does not offer subscriptions, trials, paid products, or other in-app purchases. Google Play Billing purchase and restoration actions are disabled, and LemmaPrint does not send purchase tokens to a LemmaPrint verification service.
If paid features are introduced in a future release, this policy and the in-app disclosures will be updated before those features are enabled.
Optional rewarded advertising
LemmaPrint uses only optional, user-initiated rewarded ads. One completed rewarded ad unlocks one output attempt that requires an ad. Free basic printing remains available without watching an ad. LemmaPrint does not use banner, interstitial, or app-open ads. Ads do not appear over document previews, scan review, printer discovery, or print preparation.
Rewarded ads use Google Mobile Ads. Google User Messaging Platform is used to request and manage applicable privacy and consent choices. Depending on device settings, consent, region, and the ad-serving mode, these services may process device information, advertising or app identifiers, an IP address that may indicate approximate location, consent choices, ad interactions, SDK diagnostics, and fraud-prevention signals. You can review available ad privacy choices in LemmaPrint Settings. Google describes its handling of this information in the Google Privacy Policy.
Optional diagnostics
A build may include Firebase Crashlytics and limited Firebase Analytics for reliability diagnostics. Collection remains off unless those services are enabled in the build and you opt in to sharing diagnostics. You can change this choice in Settings.
When enabled, diagnostic data may include device model or model family, Android version, app version and build number, stack traces, failure codes, feature area, operation phase, backend or protocol label, and aggregate attempted, succeeded, failed, or cancelled outcomes. Firebase Installations may provide a pseudonymous installation identifier, and Firebase Sessions may record session boundaries for crash attribution.
LemmaPrint does not intentionally include document contents, page text, thumbnails, scanned images, document names, file paths, credentials, authentication tokens, network names, Wi-Fi SSIDs, hostnames, or precise location in remote diagnostics. Turning diagnostics off stops further app collection and removes unsent Crashlytics reports where supported. It does not necessarily erase reports that were already transmitted and retained by Google under its service terms. More information is available in Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Permissions and device access
LemmaPrint requests access in context for the feature you choose:
- Camera: to capture pages when you start camera scanning.
- Notifications: to show operational print status, including submission or attention-needed states.
- Network: for printer and scanner discovery or communication, rewarded ads, consent choices, and optional diagnostics.
- Files and storage: through Android file-selection, import, export, save, and share flows.
- USB, Wi-Fi, nearby devices, Bluetooth, or location-related access: only when Android or the relevant hardware workflow requires it for discovery, connection, or communication.
You can manage permissions in Android system settings. Denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working but does not remove unrelated app functionality.
Service providers and data sharing
LemmaPrint does not sell your documents, scans, or their contents. Depending on the features enabled and used, service providers may include Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Installations, and Firebase Sessions. Their processing is limited to the relevant advertising, consent, fraud-prevention, crash, and reliability functions described above. These providers may process information on infrastructure outside your country under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your choices
- Clear app-managed local activity from LemmaPrint Settings.
- Choose whether to watch an optional rewarded ad; declining it leaves free basic output available.
- Review applicable ad privacy choices through the in-app privacy options.
- Turn optional diagnostics sharing on or off in Settings.
- Manage app permissions through Android system settings.
Children
LemmaPrint is not directed to children. Its store listing, app experience, and advertising configuration should not be treated as a child-directed service. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a service connected to LemmaPrint, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.
Security
LemmaPrint limits document exposure by keeping normal document processing on the device and by minimizing remote diagnostic fields. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so keep Android and LemmaPrint up to date and protect access to your device and connected hardware.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when LemmaPrint's features, service providers, permissions, or data practices change. Material updates will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
